About Finance Medley

Last updated October 2026

Finance Medley builds free calculators and plain-English guides that answer everyday money questions: what a salary leaves you after taxes, how an hourly wage converts to a yearly income, and how much rent or house fits your budget.

Why we built it

Most money questions come down to a few numbers, but finding them usually means piecing together tax tables, government statistics and rules of thumb from a dozen places. We do that work once, show you the result, and explain how we got there.

What makes our numbers trustworthy

  • Public, primary sources. We use official data from the IRS, state tax agencies, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, HUD, the Census Bureau and the Federal Reserve.
  • Transparent methods. Our methodology page explains every formula and assumption.
  • Regular updates. We update tax brackets when new tax years are announced and refresh other data as agencies publish it.
  • Corrections. If you find an error, tell us. We check every report and fix confirmed mistakes promptly.

Who we are

Finance Medley is published by Tempo Solutions LLC, an independent company that builds free, data-driven tools. We are not a bank, lender, broker or tax preparer, and we don't sell financial products.

How we make money

Finance Medley is free because it shows advertising. Advertisers don't influence our calculations or what we write. If we ever include affiliate links, we'll label them clearly.

Important note

Our calculators give estimates for general information. Your situation may differ, so check major decisions with a qualified tax or financial professional.
